How to recharge your Sun Direct DTH account via EPRS?

EPRS provides two easy & convenient options to recharge your account.

  1. TopUp your account:
    A Sun Direct DTH Customer can directly Topup his account from an EPRS retailer

    Steps to be followed:
    1. Contact your nearest EPRS recharge centre
    2. Provide the smart card ID and the fixed amount to the EPRS retailer.
    3. The Retailer will do the recharge through sms or through the EPRS web application.
    4. The retailer will get an immediate confirmation and collect the amount from you.
    5. You will get a Email when you switch on the setup box.

  2. Purchase Your Pin:
    A Sun Direct DTH Customer can purchase easy recharge vouchers from EPRS retailers and do the recharge himself.
    Steps to be followed:
    1. Contact the nearest EPRS recharge centre
    2. Provide the amount and quantity of the vouchers needed, to the retailer.
    3. The Retailer will issue you an unique 16 digit pin no. using EPRS sms service or EPRS web application.
    4. The Retailer can get up to 25 pins in a single purchase transaction.

A Sun Direct DTH Customer can use any of the following recharge modes to activate his account with the valid pin.

  1. Call the Sun Direct Customer care number.
    Provide the smartcard number and the 16-digit pin number
    Your account will get recharged according to the denomination

  2. SMS option
    For Airtel, Aircel, Vodafone, Reliance and BSNL users, type
    RCG<space><smart card number><space><pin number>
    and send to 58585. For Spice users (only karnataka) send to 55858 from your mobile

  3. Customer can also use the OEA Topup Engine
